Belwood Music is a UK based site that offers nothing but the best new music. Expect a healthy dose of Indie, Alternative, Rock, Blues, Prog, Folk, Soul, Pop etc. With plenty of album reviews, live music reviews, and general music discussion, there should be a bit of something to suit everyone’s taste. Albums are reviewed in a percentage format. If an album is 100% then it is sheer musical perfection, the greatest pleasure that can delight your ears. A rating of 50% is average. The only reason you would buy an album with a 1% rating is to put the CD in the microwave and watch it crackle.

Spotlight! is a regular feature focusing on up-and-coming artists. They are all artists that have yet to release their debut album at the time and show genuine promise and potential.

Music submissions should include audio links (preferably Spotify, YouTube or SoundCloud) and social media links, as well as a brief bio. While we try our best to showcase a healthy mix of styles, we do not cover hip hop, electronica, or songs with harsh vocals. Be aware that due to volume of submissions we can’t always reply to everyone, no matter how much we’d like to, so please don’t take it personally if we don’t get chance to get back to you. We’re trying our best!
